9/19/2023 0 Comments Muldrotha dredge decl![]() ![]() Not unless you happen to have a suboptimal Reserve List card laying around to 'liquidate' into the rest of the new stuff you need like I did. Incredibly fun deck that focuses on using Muldrotha's ability to bring back powerful cards from your graveyard, and generate tons of value. That is the problem I see with you, cannibalization is never enough to build a whole new deck. I didn't even have a Drowned Catacomb in Sen when I first built it because the mana bases for both of them came out of the same deck. This is why the land base in my Senoritas is mostly white-blue and white-black, whereas all the blue-black went into Spoopy Bug. They'd both need their own Ramunaps and/or Crucibles, that kind of thing! ![]() And that's not counting the other recursion staples that Muldy and Jarad would have to share between them. A Golgari mana base and a Dimir mana base are almost as opposite as you could imagine, they are not interchangeable and the lands that would have to come out of Muldrotha to properly support a Jarad would not be replaceable by the lands from Gigi & Gerry. ![]() Oloro's parts went into Scarab God and Sen Triplets, and Kozilek's ramp went into Maga.Īs for your predicament, it's limited to the spread of your mana bases. Both of them got retroactively expensive while falling out of support at the same time, so the liquidation itch got very strong until it was more reasonable to just use the parts in better decks that could actually win games and not get hated on from the outset. The only two decks I've ever "dismembered" in this way have been Oloro and Kozilek. ![]()
